A couple of friends and I went here a few weeks ago for a birthday. My friend tried to get on the Yelp waitlist, but it was closed as we got there right before 7. No problem - we were able to get on the list at the door and were warned that it might be up to 2 hours before we could be seated, if at all. We decided to put our name down and then hang out around the center as there were plenty of other shops to occupy our time. We had fun catching up and just hanging out, so the wait wasn't too bad. Around 2 hours later, our table was ready. Our waiter was awesome and let us know that since they're close to closing, we weren't guaranteed all 3 rounds of ordering (AYCE, three rounds to order whatever we wanted in normal circumstances), maybe 2 at most. He suggested we take our time and look through the whole menu and order everything we want in the first round so that we would be able to get it. Sounds like a great idea, but... you know how AYCE goes. Sometimes, it takes our brains a while to catch up with our stomachs and know when we're full - more on that later. =/ Anyway, the food was mostly great. There were a few dishes that I didn't care for, but my friends loved and vice versa. Overall, it just depends on what kind of sushi/fish you like. The noise level was loud, but you could still have a decent conversation with your group. Overall, it was a nice place to hang out with good company. 1 star off was for the late seating and rush ordering. It's not our waiter's fault, but we felt that we were somewhat rushed into ordering as much as we could before the kitchen closes - again, while not the restaurant's fault (I'm sure they want to get off on time as well), there should be a better system in place for close to closing customers. We were seated with an hour before closing, but hurried to order because not all 3 rounds were guaranteed since the restaurant was so packed. Which meant we *tried* to order everything in one go, but again - I don't know about you, but I usually have bigger eyes than stomach and order way too much. But, at the end of the night, anything that's left over (more than 5 pieces per group) is charged extra at $2/piece. Sooo... there were lots of trying to finish everything, which ultimately led to us not enjoying the meal as much as we could have otherwise. Had we not been rushed to order everything in the 1st round - I think it would have been a much better experience as our stomachs caught up to our brains and we wouldn't have suffered from overeating at the end. Anyway - I'd go again, but am definitely going to time it so we're not seated at the end of the night.

Food is always on point and consistent. They have fresh wasabi which is amazing. Servers are on it with refills and bringing out your food. We always have a good time, great atmospheres to come with friends and Enjoy. The only down fall about this place is the wait times but it's absolutely worth it.

This place went above my expectations being an AYCE. They serve generous amounts of sushi and I'm not how people can even make it to a third round. The fish you can tell is very fresh and the service is quick and friendly too. This place has been a restaurant I've been wanting to try but is usually always crowded. Came on a Friday for lunch and waited about 20min, which wasn't bad considering a Friday. The ambiance is good for dressing up and casual too. They have a lot of seating and manage to get tables moving. There is a 90 minute time limit, so keep that in mind if you come with a lot of people. Parking is a little tough but manageable. We tried a variety of dishes and plan to come back very soon.
